MY CURRENT WORK & OFFERINGS
“Don’t talk about it, be about it,” is probably the saying that best encapsulates my perspective and how I work with people.
I work with people and businesses/organizations who are trying to do away with the old status quo which benefits from the oppression and extraction of people for profit. Rather, the people and businesses/organizations who I work with are creating lives that are born from consciousness, awareness, possibility, relationship, and a deep belief in not perpetuating norms that are harmful and hurtful.
The people who choose to partner with me, in any capacity, know that in order to create a regenerative world, together we must hold a shared vision that considers more than just ourselves. Our shared vision must be vast and wide, hold space for the full spectrum of life + relationships, and also include emergent ways of being and doing.
The spaces that I hold, the initiatives that I start, and the programs that I create are always liberation-focused and about giving people the tools, the words, and the understanding that so much is possible as long as we continue to hold the collective at the core.

“TOI MARIE SMITH is an experience. Working with Toi was a breath of relief and release. I learned so much about myself, my business, equitable labor, honoring emotional and physical labor, and how capitalism and the other -isms show up in my work, practices, and engagement with employees- even as a Black cis woman who speaks about and teaches how capitalism erodes our spirit and connections- dehumanizing us all. She helped make the "theory" come to life. My sessions with Toi allowed me to embody these practices, even when they were deeply difficult. Toi helped me see that I COULD be a full-time visionary and creator. I left my university position of 12 years with the support, vision, and real-ass-ness of Toi. She held and mothered a part of me I did not think I needed- in only the way a Capricorn Sun can. :) Additionally, I birthed a massive educational series for politicized therapy for mental health workers on a decolonial journey- through Toi. Her magic is in the authentic engagement, conscious anti-capitalist lens, and her presence. She is amazing.”
